Who needs tooth extraction?
Extraction may be needed for a tooth that is decayed beyond repair, an infection that does not respond to treatment, a loose tooth from advanced gum disease, or a wisdom tooth that is trapped or causing problems.
We always discuss the alternatives first, including root canal treatment, so you can decide with full information.

How the procedure works
- 1We examine the tooth and take an X-ray, especially for wisdom teeth.
- 2The area is numbed fully before we start.
- 3The tooth is loosened and removed carefully. Complex cases may be divided first.
- 4Gauze is placed to control bleeding and help a clot form in the socket.
Pain and recovery
Mild bleeding and swelling are common for a day or two. Bite gently on the gauze and avoid rinsing hard.
Eat soft food for a few days. Contact the clinic if bleeding is heavy, pain increases after two days, or you develop a fever.
Price range
Extraction is priced after your examination, and wisdom tooth removal is priced separately because it can be more involved. Ask us on WhatsApp for the current guide.

Before and after care
- Avoid smoking and drinking through a straw for the first few days, as both can disturb the clot.
- Eat soft food and avoid very hot drinks on the day of the procedure.
- Follow the aftercare sheet we give you, and attend any follow-up we arrange.
Frequently asked questions
Is tooth extraction painful?
The area is numbed before the procedure, so you should not feel pain while the tooth is removed. Soreness afterwards is normal and easy to manage.
How much does wisdom tooth removal cost in Multan?
The cost depends on the position of the tooth and whether it needs to be divided. We confirm the cost after your X-ray and examination.
What should I do after a tooth is removed?
Bite on the gauze for the time advised, avoid smoking and hard food, and sleep with your head slightly raised.
Should I replace a missing tooth?
In most cases, yes. Replacing a missing tooth stops neighbouring teeth from drifting and helps you chew properly.
Can I smoke after an extraction?
We advise avoiding smoking for at least the first few days, because smoking can disturb the blood clot and slow healing.
